Visits to auction houses and fairs is where Laura found herself captivated by the attraction of mid-century furniture, she tells us “it became a bit of a hobby to sell pieces that I’d found online or pieces from my own home and I found I was quite good at it”. What started as a hobby soon blossomed into a full-fledged passion as Laura began curating and selling pieces, discovering her talent for sourcing unique finds that resonated with modern sensibilities.

Driven by her passion for quality pieces and timeless aesthetics, Laura embarked on the journey of establishing Norfolk Retro. From pop-up shops and finding a permanent space to expansion offering the UK’s first Ercol Showroom, Laura's dedication and eye for vintage has shaped Norfolk Retro into a beloved destination for vintage enthusiasts.

Featured in Elle Decoration, Norfolk Retro was named one of the best vintage furniture and interiors shops on Instagram. Laura not only enriches her offerings on the social platform but also contributes to the flourishing independent scene in Norwich.
